From July 16-19, the 2017 ASABE annual international meeting was held in Spokane, Washington, USA. Three PhD. candidates Yongzong Lu, Zhe Du, Teng Hang and one Master Student Xuejin Shen attended the meeting.

During the meeting, Lu, Du, Hang and Shen made the presentations named ‘Temperature of variability during frost event on different terrain of tea fields’, ‘Design of air-stream impulse threshing device based on the law of grain arrangement’, ‘Non-destructive method for diameter measurement of tomato stem using natural light under greenhouse’ and ‘Design of on-site water collecting system and online pesticide premixing system for sprayer in paddy fields’, respectively. They also communicated with researchers and professors from other famous universities and institutes who are focusing the same research fields.

These four students broaden their horizon and introduced our university adequately through the meeting, which should be benefit to promote the international development of our institute.

They returned to China on schedule on 21th, July and finished the visit task successfully.
