On July 26-28, the “First China Graduate Robot Innovation Design Competition” jointly sponsored by the Ministry of Education's Degree and Graduate Education Development Center and the China Association for Science and Technology Youth Science and Technology Center was successfully held at Harbin Institute of Technology. The online experts made a preliminary evaluation of 1,311 works from 220 colleges and universities. A total of 160 works from 96 schools stood out and entered the national finals. The contest was initiated by C9 colleges and universities, representing the highest level of national graduate science and technology competitions. Among the finalists, 985 colleges and universities occupied 68, and other colleges only occupied 92 works.
The “Greenhouse Seedling Intelligent Sorting-Transplanting-Replanting Integrated Robot” directed by the researcher Liu Jizhan of our hospital represents the only finalist of Jiangsu University and was invited to participate in the national finals. Before the competition, the team abandoned the summer entertainment time, and did not fear the heat to fully participate in the prototype debugging; and according to the requirements of the competition, the team started the game of the early black game and answered the PPT. The preparation process was strongly promoted by the graduate school and the School of Computer Science and Communication Engineering.
